A little bit about my background with…

When I joined Comcast in 2023 as an instructional designer, I brought my depth of expertise in designing and developing impactful learning programs for leading organizations. Coming into a pivotal moment with my team, Learning & Performance, being in its beginning stages, and the company transitioning various groups into new systems, I relished the opportunity, to once again, upskill employees to adopt critical new skills and technology.
My first project focused on an instructional design process for the Automotive Learning Journey curriculum at Comcast. I partnered closely with sales operations leadership and subject matter experts to deeply understand the landscape of the automotive advertising industry and how Effectv empowers dealership client success. Through extensive research and a series of working sessions, I created an asynchronous introductory training on the core topics and skills sales reps require to fluently discuss industry trends, dealer operations, and Comcast Effectv's value proposition. Focus areas spanned industry evolution, sales cycles and seasonality, customer lifetime value strategies, co-op funding approaches, and differentiating the Effectv offering. The second session I built focused on a live, instructor-led training where I prepared sales reps to lead informed discovery discussions proved pivotal. We covered informed pre-planning leveraging proprietary systems, nurturing rapport, uncovering marketing goals and media plans through thoughtful inquiry, and translating discoveries into integrated advertising solutions. I developed realistic application scenarios for learners to practice core skills. Mastering the Discovery exchange equips Comcast Effectv reps to have consultative conversations showcasing strategic insight into client needs before proposing innovative solutions tailored to support their advancement.
Over the past few months at Comcast, I have partnered closely with subject matter experts across the Campaign Management, Ad Operations, and Sales teams to spearhead training for the AOS platform. My first undertaking involved creating a comprehensive AOS Sales Module user guide - outlining step-by-step workflows for functional areas like order creation, status handling, and validation troubleshooting based on real-world demonstrations and system documentation.
Beyond direct AOS enablement, I have pursued opportunities to enrich continuous learning and elevate broader learning program maturity at Comcast. Comcast tapped my expertise conducting a comprehensive audit analyzing adoption and efficacy across the larger Effectv course catalog. My assessment provided vital visibility into course overlaps, technology gaps, and areas of content redundancy - arming Learning & Performance team stakeholders with data to inform strategic roadmaps. I also formulated and oversaw a substantial Learning & Performance team SharePoint folder overhaul, improving searchability and information architecture for this vital asset housing hundreds of documents.
Progress on these strategic learning projects illustrates my commitment to not only training Comcast employees on mission-critical platforms but also pushing the needle on opportunities to enhance learning impact and reach more broadly across the business.

When I joined eighty2i as the Head of Teammate Success, I knew I would need to draw upon my vast experience in learning and development. I took the helm of building and managing a team that would execute the vision of fostering the professional growth of team members.
An important aspect of my role involved donning many hats (a recurring theme for me). I was instrumental in creating and implementing learning programs and initiatives to nurture team member growth, maintain employee satisfaction and engagement, and foster team retention.
I also oversaw the creation of our performance management process and implemented it through Lattice. This included goal-setting, performance evaluations, feedback sessions, and making sure everyone’s individual and team goals aligned with the company's objectives and values. I also led the creation and enhancement of our training and documentation on OKRs and figured out the unique setup structure of our teams in Lattice.
In the following weeks, I was intimately involved in various culture facets of Teammate Success. We successfully onboarded various new team members, refining the internal and new-hire-facing onboarding checklists based on valuable feedback; in just under one month, we had made substantial progress in the revamp and implementation of our Quick Start onboarding program. I also ensured that when we updated our systems, we communicated the necessary changes to all employees. We also made our first venture into Founder Fridays, a monthly Q&A series featuring inspiring founders from around the globe, and I created a process for 82i to track and document monthly avatar updates.
Meanwhile, on the operations front, we commenced a Slack channel consolidation project, started documenting key Communication Guidelines, and last but not least, began developing the structure of 82i Notion pages, which would serve as a key repository for all our documentation and learning resources. I also developed our company accountability charts, our organizational chart, and high-level descriptions of all roles at 82i, to help us work better together.
In a nutshell, my experience at eighty2i has been a fruitful journey, ultimately fostering a culture of success, growth, and collaboration.

Embarking on my journey at Meta on their Enterprise Learning Operations team as a Technical Program Manager, I knew I was stepping into a realm where versatility and nimbleness were key. Like my previous roles, this position required me to wear many hats: project management, process optimization, stakeholder identification, and subject matter expertise in Enterprise Learning Operations.
The fast-paced and ever-evolving digital landscape brought with it a unique set of challenges, making project delivery timelines critical. Here, I managed internal operational support requests, my primary goal being to reduce project delivery time and heighten client satisfaction. By creating flow charts, matrices, and slide decks, I improved process flow and tightly controlled project budgets.
Meta needed to launch numerous learning programs for internal clients. This allowed me to blend my unique skillset in project management and learning technology to optimize these launches. Through comprehensive interviews and creating visual tools to present clients' program requests, I reduced ambiguity and streamlined the project initiation phase.
Fast-forward six months into my contract, my adaptability to the dynamic nature of the role was well-proven. My efforts in managing various aspects of the projects - ranging from timelines, budgeting, to resource allocation - led to an uptick in on-time project deliveries. Coupling this with my analytic prowess, I standardized processes, identified trends and insights, and ensured a consistent reduction in project delivery time.
One notable example of my project management capabilities was developing a new online training program for an organizational learning partner. Collaborating closely with subject matter experts and the learning program team, I ensured the program was crafted to be within the constructs of my department.
At the end of my time with Meta, my experience culminated in a wide range of utilized skillsets - project management, learning technology, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

I began work at BenchPrep with an instructional design background. After joining as a Hybrid Learning Technologist & Content Manager, I discovered just how many hats the role required me to wear: project management; curriculum development; assessing pedagogical approach; developing design and styling decisions; developing collaborative relationships with other teams; customer service; vendor management, and customer management.
I got good at wearing many hats.
During the pandemic, BenchPrep’s work shifted into a higher gear when online coursework was in high demand. A world gone remote brought new customers, ambitious projects, and urgent challenges.
Given my instructional design background, I understood all sides of course content creation, and my work at BenchPrep expanded that view further. In 2020, I transitioned into a Resource Operations Manager position, where I could use my project management skills to assist the Learning Design & Strategy team.
And still, more hats! During a coworker’s leave of absence, I stepped in as People Manager for our Learning Content Managers. I mentored them on handling professional expectations and ensured their capacities were balanced. When BenchPrep developed a new freelancer network in 2020, I also managed our external team of freelance content reviewers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts.
In 2021, a new cross-functional Professional Services team was born; for them, I would continue to operate as Resource Operations Manager. New hats needed to be worn in order to understand the different squads on the team: Learning Design & Strategy, Implementation, Customer Support, and Customer Training.
I helped the Professional Services team by understanding, delegating and modeling team tasks and capacities, as well as backing up their work methodologies with documentation and templates. I simplified their communications and set external expectations by mediating with internal teams. I created workflows so the team could focus on delivering high-quality courses as efficiently, happily, and copacetically as possible.
At the end of 2021, my ability to master these skills — all these many hats — in learning technology, learning content management, people management, and project management earned me my promotion as the Manager of the Learning Technology & Conversion team. I managed a team of six full-time employees, as well as an external network of freelancer content conversion reviewers. For the full time employees, I helped them hone their professional development paths, balanced and budgeted their time on incoming customer and internal projects, and encouraged group collaboration and process improvement through regular one-on-one and team meetings.
